Lazy Jaguar

Hubby and I chose a great day to visit the Woodland Park Zoo - along with hundreds of other people - the place was packed; parking was almost impossible and the line to get in was quite long. I can't blame them all; it was a warm, gorgeous Sunday in Seattle.

I got so many fun shots today - my favorite (of course) was the penguins, which, had I been tall enough, I could have reached over the glass to pet. One little guy just stood next to the glass with his mouth open, waiting for someone to feed him.

But I picked this guy, the lazy jaguar who just wanted everyone to leave him alone and let him sleep. Which I was happy to oblige after he raised his head just long enough to give me this shot of him.
