Sunart Woodlands

The oak and birch woodlands that fringe Loch Sunart from Strontian to Glenborrodale have been a great conservation (restoration) success - they're probably at their finest late summer/autumn...

We were watching an otter (spot by REO) from the hide at Garbh Eilean, but it was too far for a shot - this was the view behind the hide, which is slightly elevated.

Wednesday's picture will be a pine marten (I hope...)
