IT IS A DERELICT ICON........

.... for some 80 years the original Log Cabin Hotel stood just to the right of this shot overlooking the mighty Nepean River in Penrith.

Sadly on the 9th March 2012 an electrical fault caused a fire and it burnt too the ground, and has subsequently been cleared leaving this structure which was a lot younger in age Motel, built next to the Hotel. The owner has plans to rebuild at some point.

In the mean time it has been left to the elements and surely is now derelict!
