This pair are my grandmother's grandparents. We have my grandmother's childhood memories of them passed on to us, bringing family history to life.

In the same cemetery are Agnes' parents, or my children's great-great-great-great-grandparents. I love that I know where these people are, and that they are close enough to show my children. It makes one's sense of family and place so much richer.

Not everyone in the family values these graves. I wonder why...
