Two Swans a-Swimming

I think I have broken just about every rule there is in creating this image...

I expect the swans are still on the canal today but I was there yesterday waiting for my car to have its MOT done (I am now street legal again having forgotten all about the MOT!)

This morning (rule 2 broken) I did not get on with what I need to do but started playing around with an idea that came to me when I processed this image. I loved the idea of isolating the beaks of the swans and floating them in a sea (or canal in this case) of white.

The original image is of two swans swimming leisurely on the canal but there is quite a lot of post processing in Photoshop to end up with this result - which I really like.

So lots of Leisure for me and lots of rules in photography broken; I regard it as an art form!

To follow on from this, my lovely friend Christal came round and we played around with dripping water for a while. Far too much leisure and I must now get on with some work I have to do!
