The secret pigeon hideout
Today:

getting ready (and excited) holiday tomorrow ... tick
need a break ... tick
...Went for a great walk down to Samphire Hoe and surrounding beach. brisk chill in the air ( but not too brisk ) and radiant pockets of sunshine peeping through dense grey cloud cover.
The white cliffs of Dover truly are magnificent up close, they have beauty, poise and gravitas. They imparted a definite sense of weight and structure in an otherwise chaotic day.
The cliffs are riddled with tunnels. Some of the most famous were used in the world wars, these have been restored. Most of the others are derelict now. This particular one is now an undercover pigeon hideout. Only used for the top 1% of 1% of secret agent pigeons as they administer their plan for world domination.
