RSVP Reserve Senior Volunteer Patrol

We were the first unit on scene for a major accident with major injuries.
Although I have seen a lot of amputation in my career including one directly from surgery, yesterday was the first time from a recent accident.
Yesterday was amazing, in the response of people from a nearby hospital and civilian passerby's that had done what was necessary to help the victim before emergency responders had arrived.
Second was how many drivers were rude because they were blocked from driving their normal route which would have taken them right through the accident scene. Many calmed down when hearing there were serious injuries. It was also amazing how many people had no idea of alt. routes.
