Backblip

No sooner are the leaves swept away from the front door, than in the blink of an eye, they're back again. They are pretty though :)

Busy day today that saw me spend the majority of it in the kitchen. Made cookies for the weekend and lasagne for tonight's dinner. My nephew Andrew and his girlfriend Nikki popped in for tea on their way home from a few days up north. Really lovely to see them.

Sitting opposite Andrew at the dinner table and I couldn't help but wonder where the time has gone. Seems like only moments ago he was a toddler and coming to stay with us for the night with his car mat and piles of cars. No trouble getting a cuddle from him then. Now I think he'd rather poke nails in his eyes :-))

The cookies went down well.
