Smashing.

This is the result of the high winds we had a few days ago. Poor Daughter Number 1 isn't having much luck with her little car at the moment! She was on her way to see her boyfriend when I had a call to say 'help!' The RAC initially said they only covered mechanical breakdown but said they would make an acception in this occasion. Little car was towed home and auto glass is due out this evening.

She was even featured on the One Show on Tuesday evening after they asked viewers to send in pictures of the wind causing chaos! That was certainly the highlight of her day hearing her name called out on TV! !!!

And in other news based on the Smashing theme.....There appeared to be a drove by shooting just over the road this morning. I heard a screeching of tyres thinking it was someone deliberately trying to mark our nice new road (see yesterday's blip) but then found the neighbours window smashed with a hole in the middle of it. Their neighbours to the side called them and dealt with it but have been half expecting the Police to turn up all day. They Havnt! ! Bit scary!!! And I thought this was a nice peaceful neighbourhood!
