13.10 We leave The Netherlands
15.40 We reach the French-Belgian border and exit Belgium
17.15 We are 80 km. north of Paris and get a welcome message from DHThomas
17.40 We reach the Peripherique, or circular road, around Paris
2 hours later ...
19.45 We are finally at the meeting point agreed upon with DHThomas, exactly on time!

In short. two full hours battling the afternoon rush hour. But!

We had a lovely dinner during which I realized I had left my DSLR at home. Luckily, hubby brought along the Lumix cam I had bought from my colleague. This hung above our bed in the hotel room.

Tomorrow ... adventure!
