Do Not Enter Rainbow

It is Rainbow Season. The light changes to that remarkable warm glow and the greys pop...you look for a rainbow - there it is!

Once Upon Island today...

Dropped off cheque for the Gutter and Windows company - they did fabulous job on my house yesterday. Love living on the edge of a forest but the pines and branches build up quickly and thickly in the gutters.

Got stuck in the tedious car crawl of rush hour traffic but it was made pleasant by all us drivers leaning out our windows rainbow spotting and smiling at each other in a communal bond of appreciation. It felt representative of the Canadian spirit after the very sad violence in Ottawa yesterday.

Was looking forward to taking blip of my favourite cow at Parson's Farm on my road home but instead saw an empty red jeep abandoned on the side of the road by the Galloping Goose trail - very peculiar. Further along the shoulder there was a lady trudging along with a grocery bag and cell phone. Hmmm I'm no detective but methinks she could use a lift.

In she happily pops much relieved, her very cool jeep she is restoring konked out during rain downpour.

Well my good deed for the day. Cow photo for future blip. And so up blips do not enter signs the rainbow.
