Preparations....

We have a mentor for Trailwalker who has done the walk in HK approx 7 times. When we first sat down with him, he recommended these gels and I thought - no - they will be horrible and I never used them when I did the Caley Challenge. However, I bought one to try and yes it does make a difference as you don't feel like eating whilst walking (too hot and takes too long!). All the advise given by our mentor was spot on.

So 15 weeks in, I am buying them in bulk to cover weekend's of walks and now all the team are using them. They are still horrible but effective and as for flavour difference - there is not much between chocolate and tri-berry.
