Deterioration

This is my entry for the derelict Thursday - taken as I left the dentist after having my cracked tooth extracted, the tang of iron-rich blood still filling my mouth. I wasn't really expecting to fine a derelict corner in Oundle, which is a beautifully maintained stone town, but this window and wall at the back of a much grander house have certainly seen better days.

The extraction went very well, and the dentist confirmed that there is plenty of healthy bone in my jaw, so the next visit will be to have an implant fitted, just before Christmas. This year is turning out to be very expensive!
