They must have run out of female names.

I had a gig tonight on the 'boat', which was moored at Kyle of Lochalsh.

I definitely had a senior moment, in that I also had a gig on the boat last night, and completely forgot about it. The manager was very understanding, and fortunately didn't fire me when I phoned to apologise.

He also gave me a beautiful meal before I played - salmon en croute followed by creme brulee. Ah - the good old Scottish favourites!

It was probably a bad idea to arrange this concert for the Americans' first night on board - they had all spent the day travelling from the States, and as the hour progressed, more and more of them were nodding off. At least, I hope that it was the travelling that did it......

And, by the way, look at the angle of the gangplank; it was really exciting carrying my clarsach up that slope!!

Home at 1a.m. Can't possibly go to sleep without doing my blip.
