Battery hen blues

Well not really. A neighborhood friend just received 4 fancy breed hens today. Seeing them them crammed into a cage was just a sight. One chicken was sitting on another. They are now home and out of the of that too small of cage that was used for transporting them. I think this friend is building up a petting zoo. She has up to 6-7 hens, 3 guinea pigs and 4 cats. And there was a rabbit at one time.
