Unexpected encounter

Went to see Andrea this morning and really enjoyed the walking tour of the village including the exciting nature & tree conservation project she is involved with. (The renting out of live Christmas trees which are then re-planted, particularly appeals).

Then, as we turned the corner to go home, we came across this pair. They had been hunting rabbits. The love this lad had for the bird was so evident as he talked excitedly about what she had done and what she was capable of.

Of course he told me what sort of magnificent falcon she was but it went in one ear and out of the other. Anyone out there know?
