100 years from then 'til now, what have we learned

So many lives lost, can you tell me why?
A message sent home, a final goodbye.
Most, happy to go, to fight that bad foe
Did it do any good I really don't know,
Remember them please, all they did for you..
Lets all try again to live in peace too!
