Red Nightshade /Bittersweet?

Out on a walk this afternoon we noticed this vine of glossy red berries. We had noticed them earlier in the week but neither of us had a clue what they were. One vine did have heart shaped leaves but I liked this image of the berries against the dark Holly leaves.

Research back home suggests that it may be European Bittersweet or Red Nightshade. Just hoping someone can help with the identification.
