Workmate

Hooray...(on my part).

An old friend, another J, has moved nearby after his life upheaved on him.

It's bad for him, obviously, but selfishly, it's good for me. I get a workmate and a film-going friend and book-review-chatter and a reminder of how comfortable being around old friends is.
