Got my new shoes on...

Victoria Beckham and I don't really have much in common, except one thing - we both belong to the "no such thing as too high a heel" school of fashion, and I must admit to a wee cheer when she publicly stated she'd rather die than wear flats. 'Atta girl!

However, I do have one achilles heel (don't pardon the pun, it was deliberate) in terms of low-arch footwear, and that's Converse trainers. This is my newest pair. I LOVE them...so much so that I even wore them with my suit today...which probably brings me closer to David Tennant than is comfortable in terms of fashion..

But no danger of getting kicked out of the stiletto club - back to the vertiginous skyscrapers tomorrow...
