It's getting better

I got home today, at 1 am thanks to BA and an argument a plane had with a jetty at the very start of yesterday. An enforced stay at LGW was made more bearable by the love waiter in Cafe Rouge who provided me with free coffee as they closed and the woman at Gate 55 who made sure I wasn't forgotten about and admired my cats.

But despite being too bed at 1.06 am I was in the office at 9 ready to discuss Christmas carols and I left at 7 having finished the background notes for the CEO's visit next week. Too much.

Tonight was spent slumped in front of the box slurping Merlot.
