BethaBlip 39...
This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.
Mrs TFP went to our first Parent/Teacher interview thingy this month at the nursery. It is treated almost exactly like the same sort of thing at proper school. Bethany's teacher is very happy with her progress. She says that she is very shy and can sometimes just play away by herself very happily for hours if left to it. Her next goal type things if that's what you can call it at that age, that Mrs Hanton
and ourselves would like to see is Bethany integrating more with the rest of the kids in nursery. Apparently she loves painting and specifically painting yoghurt pots at nursery which we kinda guessed as she comes back just about everyday with a new one.
Speaking of painting, Bethany is getting very good at painting and drawing in general. For instance, she'd been learning about chinese new year at nursery and on one of our etch-a-tablet toys, she drew, as she announced, a dragon for chinese new year.
I went with Bethany to her first big birthday party which was held at the local leisure centre. I thought at first that she would be again, very solitary but after about 10 minutes, this girl Sarah turned up and then the two of them just ran around playing on the various bouncy things for the rest of the time. I did get the odd cursory wave as they skipped between the playthings.
Bethany is always coming up with wee phrases which sometimes we never find out where they come from. Most likely suspect is of course nursery. "Happy Mrs Chicken!!!" whilst battering away at the piano, we worked out came from Peppa Pig, but one we are still at a loss for is singing "Wiggle your bum, wiggle your bum and tuuuurrrrrnnn around!!!" with all applicable actions.
