A tough day on the bike...(?)

Well, we had done 50k to this point, so we figured we deserved a break in the sun at the Wynyard Quarter (Waterfront Container Library - Christchurch appears not to have a total monopoly on uses for containers !).
What a glorious day in Auckland today, perfect for easy riding and exploring out to the north west, then back through the viaduct to finish with a lunch of salad and a wine on the waterfront. A great day.
