Brig o' Doon

It was a privilege to share the story of Tam o' Shanter with friends who had never heard it. We parked at Burns birthplace, which we visited before walking along Poet's Path where the weather vanes illustrate Burns' tale of Tam. At the excellent museum, we had lunch before exploring. We rounded off our visit by walking past that Auld Kirk of Alloway (where Tam encountered Cutty Sark and her ghostly crew) to the Brig o' Doon (where he escaped but left his grey mare Meg's tail behind).

In the evening we ate yesterday's blip, which was delicious!
