Pyramids Of England

This rather spooky looking pyramid must have been the family vault of an important family.

It's in the yard of Saint Andrew's Church, a very fine Georgian building, that was built by the Scottish Presbyterian community in Liverpool.

The church was in use until the 1970s and in a relatively short time, has suffered a catastrophic decline into the ruin that is it now. It's rather distressing that this fine building was allowed to get into this state.

Will this be the fate of our civilization sooner or later?



I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
