Target practice

Golfers always think they can hit the ball a bit further than they can. Sometimes, they are correct! I caught this scenario today while strolling along a fairway near home. The tractor man is saying to himself, "Go ahead, hit the ball, you can't drive it that far." And, the golfer is thinking, "A good drive and I can bean that worker." Meanwhile, the golfer's partners (not visible) are saying, "Hit the worker and we'll give you a stroke a hole from here on in." Golf is a great game! :-)
