Bryony

Quite a nice day the winds and rain have died down a bit.

Mr Toad is away for a few days so I have been entertaining myself doing a jigsaw, a bit of apple picking (had a nice baked apple for pudding), planting some bargain plants I bought the other day, and a bracing walk down the lane to the beach.
I met a couple who had been up in the woods looking for red squirrels, one of a couple of places on the island where they still inhabit, but they hadn't seen any, they are elusive little so & so's.

The bryony was in the hedgerow down the lane making a welcome splash of colour.
