Stockiemuir from Auchineden Hill

This morning the rain cleared and I left home in beautiful sunshine at about 11.45 and had a quick jaunt up Auchineden Hill to the second ridge before returning - sunshine all the way. Now back at my computer a couple of hours later the rain has returned with a vengeance. How lucky I was to capture, in these perfect conditions, the wonderful autumn landscape north to Balmaha and west to Loch Lomond and the Arrochar 'Alps', across the moor from Auchineden Hill. In large, you may spot the hint of a rainbow!
