Forest Burn Ford

I'd intended walking the 10km round to see a friend, but the clouds closed in and the wind got up, so instead I went to the gym, then drove to her cottage. The route is down a steep narrow road, with a ford to cross at the bottom, then a sharp bend before climbing up out of the dene. The ford was nice and shallow today. However I was careful when I got out of the car on arrival as her place is very exposed go the elements, particularly the wind - once, in the 70's, the door of the 2CV blew off when I opened it.
