Fosse Way
When I'm based in Cheltenham my commute is long, 45 miles and cross-country. Not fun in rain, or darkness, but on days like today, I absolutely love it.
Not a cloud in the sky, the route has fantastic hills and scenery and leaves me full of the joys of (almost) spring. Of course, the day couldn't stay this good, but it was a great start! This photo is the Fosse Way - a Roman road stretching from Cirencester to Leicester. Everyone knows the Romans liked to make their roads straight, here's proof as if it were needed.
