Manchester Cathedral
We had things to do in the City Centre this morning. The day started off well with skeins of pink footed geese flying high over St Peter's Square and heading south-east. Towards the end of the morning I popped into the Cathedral. A service was underway, part of which I watched. A largely black congregation, quite a few bishops present, a very animated bishop leading the service (he was much more dramatic than Maxine Peake in Hamlet a few weeks ago) and as it turned out quite a few priests being ordained. And a very smart congregation. It seems it was a service of the apostolic churches congregation.
