Angels & Partys

We arrived in Newcastle at 10pm last night. It was a mad 5 hour drive. Roadworks, traffic jams and some awful downpours of rain. We checked into the hotel and tried our best to all get some sleep.

After a full English this morning we went to the Angel of the North. It's a magnificent sight. We got right up close to it and P sat on its foot!

We're all shattered after yesterday's traveling so we are now back at the hotel having a nap. I've just woken up but Mr J and A are still snoring. P didn't want to nap so she is next door playing with grandma and grandad.

Soon time to get ready and go out again. Great Aunt Gillian is turning 60 and its her surprise party. Got to be at the venue for 7:30 ready for when she arrives. I've never been to a surprise party before, it's exciting!

Most of the Geordies haven't met either P or A so it should be a good night introducing them to everyone and having a boogie!
