Tight Squeeze

This will not mean much to those who don't know St Agnes but at the end of a long shift I arrived there this evening in a decent sized bus to find that the council, without warning, had dug up the road.
St Agnes has a one way system that is a tight squeeze normally but to have to turn left up a small side street was a real challenge.
The damage in the picture occurred while "swinging the tail round" , the subsequent detour around some of the lesser known bits of Cornwall was, as one passenger put it, "an adventure".
CCC could stand for a lot more than Cornwall County Council!!
