Linz before opening hours......

Wet, cold and windy at times today! Think we are getting the tail end of a hurricane passing over somewhere else...

We crossed the Rhine by ferry to the town of Linz which was very beautiful...but so empty, as we have noticed many places have been so far! OR, their day begins later maybe...

Later we visited Konigswinter and took the rack/cog railway up to Drachenfels and then made the steep climb up to the ruined tower, enjoying more amazing views...except it was so windy and was a long way down when looking over the edge...

A cruise along the Rhine back to Remagen ended the day nicely as did the cup of hot chocolate.
