Humpback diving
I stopped by the river Dart on my way back from Wales. The tongue of water and light reflected from the surface above the weir remind me of the tail flukes of a submerging whale.
I like the textured rippled surface of the water which may be better seen large
And as a tribute to Jack Bruce whose death was announced today here are some great lyrics he co-wrote and sang…
In the white room with black curtains near the station
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment
I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines
