A better day

After yesterday's disappointment today went pretty much to plan. I have blipped this view previously, but with the cloud this afternoon and the promise of a clearer sky before sunset it was worth another look.

I waited at the side of the road with the camera set up on the tripod while a clear(er) patch of sky drifted along ... one chap stopped in his Jag, jumped out, took a quick iPhone shot and drove off, two people asked me for directions and so-on ....

Possibly best viewed large and while humming the opening to Beethoven's 6th.
