La carbonera. Desempilar
The charcoal was one of the duties for the men of the forest between the months of November and March. Lack of coal in Catalonia forced a more intensive exploitation of charcoal. The beech, oak, and especially oak were most used to make charcoal. They cut the trees and the wood it being made batteries, which ignited and began the process of firing. Once off the battery, booted coal filled the Sarra and weighed. The colliers were at the same time the forest while it lasted charcoal and staying in huts built by themselves.
The Coal has become over the years a party for all the neighbors Forallac and the rest of the region.
