Royal Southampton Yacht Club has a unique reputation in double handed racing - a crew of just two.
The Club has been running the premier double handed series in the UK for 35 years and for the first time this year hosted and organised a national series.
The double handed concept was inaugurated 35 years ago by members Neil and Jan Cox and they became the first recipients of a special Double handed award donated by international solo round the world yachtsman Mike Golding at a prize giving ceremony at the Club's headquarters at Ocean Village, Southampton this evening.
