Pearl Perturbed

When Music and I walk around outside the house, Pearl watches intently...sometimes crying pitifully to be let out. She loves the porch; it is perfect for squirrel and bird watching. But she longs to be free in the woodsy wild. I am often tempted to let her be an outdoor cat; I have never had any other sort. Yet the raccoons, foxes, owls and hawks make me hesitant. Sunny - my last outdoor cat - disappeared. Poor Pearl, but not sooo Poor...
