Bee

Got up early this morning, because we had to volunteer at the Red Ribbon Run of the high school. They organize this every year as a fundraiser for the Cross Country Team. The Red Ribbon Campaign has something to do with pleading to be drug free.

The we went home for lunch and after lunch we went to Kleb Nature Preserve. It's a nice park and today they had several activities for kids, like candle making, cotton combing, coloring a neck scarf with natural dyes, making corn husk dolls and there's a blacksmith. The boys are too old for this stuff, but the weather was nice, so we wanted to go and take pictures.

I took several good pictures today. I loved the balloons at the red ribbon run, the white flowers on the cotton plant with those little ants on them, a hummingbird feeder invaded by a group of bees, and a picture of some old keys.
Still, I chose this picture of the bee, because I just love hibiscus flowers and bees.
