Yi Peng

Short hop flight back to Chiang Mai, felt strange seeing my house from the plane landing in Thailand! After some laundry, satnav and wallet related drama I ended up in the middle of Yi Ping alone not able to get to my friends. Despite that it was truly magical and brought a few tears to my eyes. This ceremony only occurs in Chiang Mai which is partly about paying homage to Buddha and for people to make wishes and send out love and happiness to the rest of the world. Mesmerizing.
