हैलो

Started the day off with a hike up Mount Victoria. The summit at the top had the best view of the area but this swing somewhere in the middle of the mountain was a whole lot cooler. Just a plank on a rope attached to the tree but there was something about swinging on that swing with that view around you that was so amazing. Here's a photo of Blythe I took. She's afraid of heights so she's holding on for dear life. It doesn't look very high but it felt like it.

Then the afternoon we took the cable car (kind of like a trolley on an incline) up another hill to the botanical gardens. We didn't realize how huge the place was and it was kind of like a maze to get around. Very pretty though.

Finished up the night at the Diwali festival in town. It was a hindu festival with lots of neat stuff for sale and performances. Later on they had fireworks over the harbor.
