Wangfujing Market
I had another early finish on Friday so I went exploring around Tiananmen Square. I found it hard to get a decent photo partly because the smog was heavy, partly because I had the ISO setting on max and hadn't realised and partly because Tiananmen Square is just a huge paved area and there isn't really a great deal to photograph other than the hundreds of police that keep a sharp eye on everything that is going on.
I then wandered over to Wangfujing and went down a street that is famous for it's night market which sells exotic foods and cheap tat. It was still early but the food was already being put out. I didn't really fancy scorpion, snake or starfish at that time but I'll have to go back some time with a bit of dutch courage in me.
