ideally, I'd be more disciplined harvesting spuds, so that intruders from 3 years ago (i'd have to check the book but that would fit with the strict 3-year rotation) wouldn't pop up all over.

I also need to make sure that similar-looking varieties are kept further apart. I've planted Lady Balfour right next to Cara.

We're adding the combination of Chillies, Garlic, fish sauce and Ginger to the list of food off the menu for the baby, given the screaminess and enforced late night walk last night. That and Cavalo Nero are now strictly prohibited.
