A "Quiet Day" at Bridgend Quaker Meeting House. Not completely quiet though, with readings from translations of writings by Meister Eckhart, amongst others. Renewed friendships too as I met some of the Caldey Retreat group for the first time since April, also others who provided some interesting insights into the diversity of ideas amongst Quakers.

The day there passed all too quickly and it was time to get home to change for the R's engagement party. This provided me with a photo for today as R had been busy carving the pumpkin.

Returned home by 10pm in time for K to walk he dog, then unexpected surprise phone call from K2. Fortunately the clocks go back tonight so I get to sleep in tomorrow after this quite long day.
