Graduation Day!
OK, so the cooking class I've been taking at The Laguna Culinary Arts School is only 3 weeks long, it was still our graduation day.
Tonight we stuffed, tied, seasoned and roasted the chicken you see Chef Octavio Montoya draining here. We also baked a stuffed pork loin and created the stuffing ourselves and smoked an amazing salmon.
I've been buying saute pans, knives and kitchen gadgets to try and recreate the magic we had in school.
Last week I made chicken in a lemon caper sauce with sauteed veggies that actually came out pretty good...and the leftovers made into chicken tacos were great!
I'm going to miss this class.
