Two Smokeys for the price of one. I had a few attempts using the Reflections filter on my Tough compact and had forgotten about them until today, so this is slightly out of sequence.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
First Aid Kit - America (recorded live, KEXP, 20 October 2012)
Such a brilliant song, to which these Swedish sisters are perfectly suited with their intuitive harmonies. One of Paul Simon's greatest achievements, originally from Simon and Garfunkel's album Bookends in 1968, and made a single in 1972. I thought the song had featured in the film The Graduate, which did feature several Paul Simon compositions, but it seems this was only in my imagination. It was later included in the film Almost Famous.
"America was inspired by a five-day road excursion in September 1964 with Simon's love interest Kathy Chitty. Producer Tom Wilson had called Simon back to the United States to finalize mixes and artwork for their debut studio album, Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.. Simon, living in London at the time, was reluctant to leave Chitty, and invited her to come with him, forgetting the album and spending five days driving the country together. Several years later, America was among the last songs recorded for Bookends, when production assistant John Simon left Columbia Records, forcing Simon, Garfunkel, and producer Roy Halee to complete the record themselves." - Wikipedia
