Yorkshire grown Watermelon

Very proud of my watermelon, it isn't big but it taste's good. Not bad for Yorkshire eh.

I grew two but made the mistake of growing one vine like up a pole, this one I let the plant ramble about the top of the greenhouse benches between the plants. The first one became too heavy because it was hanging it began to break off before it was mature, I left this one and just made sure it was not getting wet until the plant started to die with the cold then I cut it. I only got one watermelon on each plant that matured, and I made sure the plant was always standing in water. Next year I will know what not to do and hopefully grow more than one successfully
