That time of year again...

1 Christmas cake and 2 Christmas puddings successfully baked and steamed respectively. Always a satisfying day in the kitchen.

Thanks to Mr G, who minded the fort and kept pans bubbling so I could get out for a walk with my friend - our weekly habit has slipped over the past two weeks due to poorly children, so it was particularly nice to be back out in the fields again. 40km still feels like a very distant prospect... but we'll get there. I hope!
