Lancelot...

I never knew Capability Brown's real name was Lancelot!

A visit to Croome Park in Worcestershire today to marvel at what one man can envisage and make come to life. Of course it helps that there were hundreds of people working on it for years but still... The only mildly disappointing part was that the main house is covered in scaffolding so you can't get a decent shot of it.

Not the greatest of selection of photographs to choose from, this is the best of the bunch, but a nice afternoon and it seems to have the achieved the intention of wearing out the small child (so that hopefully he'll sleep all the way through tonight)!
